WE BELIEVE…

The most important thing for every person is to have a personal, life changing, relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.  In Him, mankind is freed from the penalty for their sins not as a result in whole or in part of their own works, goodness or religious ceremony, but by the unmerited favor (grace) of God alone.

WE BELIEVE…

In only one true God, the creator of the universe, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  God is infinite in power, wisdom, justice, goodness, and love.

WE BELIEVE…

God the Father, by His own choice and out of love for sinful mankind, sent Jesus Christ into the world to reconcile sinners to Himself. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He was God in the flesh, both true God and true man.  Jesus lived a sinless life and voluntarily suffered and died as our substitute to pay the penalty for our sins.  He satisfied God’s justice and accomplishing salvation for all who trust in Him alone. Jesus victoriously rose from the dead in the same body, ascended to heaven where He reigns as the only mediator between God and mankind, making intercession for His own. He will return to earth personally, visibly and bodily to judge all men.

WE BELIEVE…

Mankind was created in the image of God and was originally created innocent before Him; but, because mankind willingly chose to rebel by disobeying God, all are now separated from Him and under divine condemnation. Thus mankind is born with a corrupted nature and without spiritual life, and totally incapable of pleasing God in and of themselves.  However, all who trust in Jesus for forgiveness of sins can enter into a right personal relationship with God.

WE BELIEVE…

The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ, to convict men and women of their sins, and to impart new life to all who place their faith in Christ.  The Spirit convicts, persuades, teaches, guides, challenges and empowers Christians to live a life that pleases God, benefits others and reveals His will for us.  Through the Holy Spirit, believers are bestowed spiritual gifts to assist the church in its mission.

WE BELIEVE…

Being Christian” involves more than just believing the right things. Being Christian is obeying God’s will in every arena of life. That is, a Christian’s attitudes, actions, values, and standards should continually be transformed and aligned to the will of Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE…

The Bible, both Old and New Testament, is the inspired Word of God, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of all people, and the final authority for Christians in faith and life at every age.

WE BELIEVE…

There is only one Church, God’s Church. Everyone who trusts in Jesus Christ and follows Him are members of God’s Church, regardless of denominational affiliation. However, anyone who does not trust in and follow after Jesus Christ is not a member of God’s Church, even if their name is on a denomination’s membership roll.  All believers that make up the church worldwide should assemble together in local churches for worship, prayer, fellowship, service and teaching in order to be conformed to the image of Christ as well as to become equipped to carry out the “Great Commission” that Jesus gave His followers in Matthew 28:18-20.

WE BELIEVE…

Jesus will return personally to judge everyone and to establish his kingdom. Everyone who trusts in Christ will enjoy eternity with Him, but those who reject Christ will be separated from Him for eternity.  We can be assured at physical death, the believer enters immediately into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord.; while the unbeliever enters immediately into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his or her body to everlasting suffering, judgment and condemnation.

WE BELIEVE…

Jesus Christ has instructed those who believe in Him to be baptized (immersed) in water as a symbol of their new birth in Christ. It is only for those who have personally made a commitment to believe in Jesus. Children and infants that are younger than the age of accountability are often brought by their parents, as Jesus was, to be dedicated to the Lord in a public declaration.  Jesus also instituted the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of His suffering, death and resurrection.
